You know, I think that Texas is counterintuitive, when it comes to "dryness". As dry as I think it was for me when growing up, I never had the problem of cracked skin/dry sinuses until I moved to Minnesota. We kept two humidifiers (one large and one medium) running in our house at all times during the year and I still had problems with the dry air affecting me.

Indiana seems to be a little more dry than Texas to me, but nowhere near as bad as MN.

I wonder if Texas just has that nice ocean air from the golf, that it just doesn't get as dry as MN.

Anyway, I am glad your headache went away. It's funny how certain climate and consumables can turn it on/off.

Hope you are feeling better.

And yay for husbands who can fix things! ;-)

You know, I think I tried not using it in the summer last year, and since I never put it away for the winter, I think it might be because I had trouble then too.

Huh. That is strange about the humidifier. Can you stop using it in the summer when it is usually wetter? Glad HB got it working!

Happy reading.
