Vacation is planned
So, I don’t twitter, because for one thing, I don’t have the time for it. But for another, my main entry over and over would be “doing an experiment”. This is also why I don’t always have much to blog about. My life is often fairly routine.
However, with job stuff, there has been more to say recently. Also, something of note that happened today:
I’m going on vacation in July! The room(s) have been reserved, I got the okay from my boss, Texas Seestor got the okay from _her_ boss, and I booked my airline flight about 15 minutes ago. So it is real! Vacation is on the way! In case the statement about Texas Seestor has you wondering, this is a family vacation with Texas Seestor, Trainwreck, Munchie, Mom, Dad and Me. No HB on this one.
Just check out the pools!
Isn’t that gorgeous? The place is in Texas on the Gulf coast near Corpus Christi. You can see the ocean in the distance in that photo. The place is actually connected to the ocean by a boardwalk, this view just makes the ocean look farther away than it is.
And get this: the pool has water slides! How awesome is that?
I’m pretty psyched, as you can tell.

Wow, that looks like loads of fun! And you get to be with your family. Seems like the pool will be a welcome relief in Texas in July.

The water is the big draw. I will probably turn into a big prune from being in the water all of the time.

Waterslides will be fun with Munchie!
That’s sad that HB can’t go. 
You’ll have to make up for it with extra time having extra fun. Yay for vacation!

I think that Munchie is a little bit tooooo small to go on the waterslides with us. However, maybe she would enjoy watching the people “pop out of the tube”. I mainly plan on going on the slides myself!
