Flowers for Friday – birthday orchids

It reminds me of the face of a little old man.

Happy Friday! I hope you are doing something fun this weekend. I know that I’m finally going to get into some books that I got for my birthday now that I’m not preparing lectures or preparing for my interview.

    I LOVE that first picture. Gorgeous! Have I ever mentioned that I think you should frame some of your flower pictures as gifts or to hang in your own home? :-)

    I think you might’ve mentioned making a calendar. Funny thing is that my parents have had enlargements made of some of them and have them hanging in their home, while I’ve actually never done that.

    I was just thinking about my future office last night when I couldn’t sleep. I was thinking about how I want to frame some of my photos so that I have something pretty and happy to look at.

    Plus, it would give people something to talk to me about when they see them. :-)

    That first picture is absolutely gorgeous. Got a chuckle out of the last one, too. Orchids are so fun. I’ve got to get outside today. This is the first day that my tulips have opened.

    I made a calendar for Ichabod’s grandmother of some of my photos. She ended up buying a cheap calendar so she could mark on that because she thought my calendar was too pretty. Yours would be like that, too.
