Feeling badly on a day off
So, I’m off today for the observance of MLK Jr.’s b-day, and my throat really hurts. And I’m wondering, is it better to feel ill on a day when you are already off – so that, for example, you can mope around and no one cares. Or is it better to be healthy and happy on a day off and ill on a work day…. I haven’t decided. Not that my decision is really going to make that big of a difference. I think I just feel like whining.
mwah mwah, my throat hurts.
It is probably better to be home, all in all.
By the way, it was -5 as the high here yesterday. Minus. Can you believe that. Oh the joy of minneeeesota.
The Girlie-girl is hanging close, which is a bit unusual. Usually, she finds a chair by now and sticks in it until later.

Sadly, I usually feel so guilty about staying home that I have a hard time doing it when I feel icky. At least you didn’t have to miss an official day of work?

Sorry you feel sick.
This has been such a sick year for everyone it seems. And I suppose that feeling sick on a work day is better if you are not so busy that you can’t take it easy. But I choose no feeling sick at all.

I am feeling better today. My throat is still a bit achy, but nowhere near as bad as yesterday. I also don’t feel as whiny.
Hope that all of you are hanging in there healthy.

Believe it or not, I’ve pondered this very question before! I’m with you…just grateful to not have to work sick.

I got the bad bug two days before the Christmas holiday. Then, I was still sick as heck and had to go to work. Normally I can work from home, but we had a horrible software upgrade to deal with.
My cold took over two weeks to go away. I hope you’re feeling better now.
