Since Ichabod gets irritated with too much tv I have to be choosy. But, that does leave me more time for other things. I do like good singing and dancing, though. My parents loved musicals and we had a number of records, and also some piano books. The cheering crowd part would bother me. Sounds like they're doing that on purpose. Maybe they think we're not smart enough to "get" good music and they think we'll get excited just because the crowd is. Dumbing down America. :-) Maybe I'll watch the opening. It could be fun. I couldn't believe that they gave him a chance to do that before his actual audition. And then, he just assumed that he could keep doing it. I'm glad they escorted him out. It was getting ridiculous. I also thought the Briitney Spears girl was pretty funny to watch. She was really good at impersonatiing her. I can't believe the chinese(?) dude last niight with his own song. It wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be, at least. Simon's reaction was priceless "Why do I have a bad feeliing this will be made into a hit record?" There was an interesting girl on last night who does singing impressions and they had her do an impression of Britney Spears that was pretty funny. I can't believe what some people do to get airtime. I really did like that one country-ish girl that got through. I want to see her make it all the way through.
