Blogthing for Christmas – part II
I was looking for the blogthing that Ern (was it Ern?) posted on her blog recently. But alas, I couldn’t find it.
But I did find this one about Christmas spirit.

Your Christmas Sprit Level: 70% |
![]() You have a lot of Christmas spirit, and it’s evident to most people who know you. You love most things Christmas, and you do your best to make sure everyone has a great holiday. While you like the more commercial aspects of Christmas, you truly know what the spirit of Christmas is about. |
I really like Christmas. Big surprise there.
As an aside, I decorated with lights the weekend of Thanksgiving this year. And finished decorating the trees the following weekend.

We are definitely from the same family. I can even guess how you answered most of the questions! My Christmas Spirit Level was 75%. Yay! The holidays are almost here! And that means, Mom, Dad and Danielle will arrive soon!
Squirl says:
The only “decorating” I’ve done is to put up the Christmas cards I’ve received. I did pull out some lights today. But they were cheap and cheesey. They just didn’t seem to be worth the bother.

I got 65%. I also counted a couple of things that are partially true, but not exactly. I do love the holiday season and was afraid I’d come up with some low, low number.
Sounds like you are in for a great trip to TX, Danielle. Have a great time with your family, especially your niece!! Can’t wait to see pictures.
Ern says:
I don’t think I did a Christmas blogthing. Was it squirl? Or someone else? I remember seeing it too.
Danielle says:
Texas Seestor, I bet you checked off the one about making cookies, didn’t you? That was one that I left blank.
Squirl, to each her own. If you don’t miss it, then there is certainly no need to feel compelled to do it. I know my parents have really scaled back on how much decorating they do.
Jenski, isn’t that funny? I had a couple that were like that too. Mainly the ones about watching the Christmas movies and TV shows. I don’t do it every year as an “Oh my Gosh, I just have to watch this show this year.” But I pretty much manage to catch one either every other year, or maybe 2 out of 3 years. And I decided that was close enough.
Oh, and thanks for the well wishes about TX. I leave on the 26th, so I’ll be around until then. And I”ll probably check in a little bit while I’m gone, but not quite as much, I’d guess. I’m sure my Flickr account will be flooded with pics.
Ern, so it wasn’t you? hmmmm… I just remember it being a reindeer and thinking “I’ll do that one when it gets closer to Christmas.” Guess my powers of recollection aren’t very strong in this case.
