Blogthing for Christmas – part II

I was looking for the blogthing that Ern (was it Ern?) posted on her blog recently. But alas, I couldn’t find it.

But I did find this one about Christmas spirit.

Your Christmas Sprit Level: 70%

You have a lot of Christmas spirit, and it’s evident to most people who know you.
You love most things Christmas, and you do your best to make sure everyone has a great holiday.

While you like the more commercial aspects of Christmas, you truly know what the spirit of Christmas is about.
You’re all about giving, being kind, and sharing the spirit of Christmas with everyone you know.

I really like Christmas. Big surprise there.

As an aside, I decorated with lights the weekend of Thanksgiving this year. And finished decorating the trees the following weekend.

We are definitely from the same family. I can even guess how you answered most of the questions! My Christmas Spirit Level was 75%. Yay! The holidays are almost here! And that means, Mom, Dad and Danielle will arrive soon!

The only “decorating” I’ve done is to put up the Christmas cards I’ve received. I did pull out some lights today. But they were cheap and cheesey. They just didn’t seem to be worth the bother.

I got 65%. I also counted a couple of things that are partially true, but not exactly. I do love the holiday season and was afraid I’d come up with some low, low number.

Sounds like you are in for a great trip to TX, Danielle. Have a great time with your family, especially your niece!! Can’t wait to see pictures. :)

I don’t think I did a Christmas blogthing. Was it squirl? Or someone else? I remember seeing it too.

Texas Seestor, I bet you checked off the one about making cookies, didn’t you? That was one that I left blank.

Squirl, to each her own. If you don’t miss it, then there is certainly no need to feel compelled to do it. I know my parents have really scaled back on how much decorating they do.

Jenski, isn’t that funny? I had a couple that were like that too. Mainly the ones about watching the Christmas movies and TV shows. I don’t do it every year as an “Oh my Gosh, I just have to watch this show this year.” But I pretty much manage to catch one either every other year, or maybe 2 out of 3 years. And I decided that was close enough.

Oh, and thanks for the well wishes about TX. I leave on the 26th, so I’ll be around until then. And I”ll probably check in a little bit while I’m gone, but not quite as much, I’d guess. I’m sure my Flickr account will be flooded with pics. ;-)

Ern, so it wasn’t you? hmmmm… I just remember it being a reindeer and thinking “I’ll do that one when it gets closer to Christmas.” Guess my powers of recollection aren’t very strong in this case. ;-)
