Flowers for Friday – roses and hydrangeas

This was one of the centerpieces for my friend’s wedding. I was really excited at the use of hydrangeas in the centerpieces, since I love them so much.

And speaking of weddings, today is HB’s and my 11th anniversary! We have plans to do some fun things this weekend. Hopefully, the weather will stay nice.

    Congrats on your anniversary! Eleven years….how time flies. I still remember decorating the reception hall on the Friday before, the wonderful tree under which your wedding was held and all of the fun dancing at the reception.

    Happy anniversary! Enjoy your celebrations. Re: that Kalhil Gibran passage, I think that’s a great idea for a reading at a wedding. I didn’t even think of it! I love the language of it. The words flow so beautifully.

    Yesterday was only our 4th, but we have actually been together for 11 years too.
