I would be staying inside if I were all of you getting snow – no more sprained ankles or I-just-shoveled-for-too-long- muscle pain.

Amber – ugh. I didn’t hear that about tomorrow… I had really wanted to go into work tomorrow. Guess I’ll have to keep an eye on the weather/conditions of the roads.

And yes, it is getting bad out there right now!

And I do mean flour, but you are right, it is funnier that way. However, a while ago he pour salt into my orchid. I think it is still recovering from that.

I think that we are pretty safe from drifting snow ruining the shoveling since we have a fence, but heck, I could be wrong, and hey, look how hard it is snowing right now. I mean, I can hardly see the house across the street. It’s much craziness.

Apparently, it is supposed to snow a lot tomorrow as well and we are supposed to get 12-16 inches by tomorrow afternoon. So, no sledding tomorrow, i don’t think, but maybe Saturday!

Maybe I’ll just feel better tomorrow. That’s what I’m hoping for.

You might need to have your husband take you to a clinic or the doctor if the pain doesn’t get better. You’d hate to have torn something and not realize it. Although I remember how painful my knee was when I landed on it wrong roller skating and it did eventually get better, even though I didn’t go to the Dr. So, maybe yours will be like that. I sure hope so!

Amber, I had debated about shovelling the driveway and doing it multiple times to keep up with it… but I’ve had instances where all of my shoveliing has been ruined by drifting snow, so I can’t quite get myself to do it until I really have to drive out of it.

BTW: I assume you meant flour container? But it is funny to read it like it is. I’m picturing him pouring sugar into a potted plant….

I love this weather! And I can’t believe how much it has snowed.

I went out and SHOVELED our drive way this morning at 9am and again at 1pm. Lo and behold, there was another good 3-4 inches of snow.

I went ahead and decided to do it in two goes since I am not as strong as Andy and he needed to be able to get into our driveway when he got home. (Yes, crazy man went out to work today…)

It is snowing more outside now and Jonah is pouring sugar into my flower container now. Well I guess I can’t use that now.

I suggest you take the day and read a book for pleasure. Snowy days are good for warm blankets, hot tea, and a good book.

Now when I have a snow/sick day, I still work. A lot of my job can be done on the computer, but that doesn’t mean I can’t do a little reading or occasionally turn on the tv.

We had icy weather here this morning but I had every intention of driving in to work anyway. My klutzy feet had different intentions, though.

I was wearing my boots because they have better traction. Yeah, the caught traction on the top of the four steps that lead down from the kitchen to the back door. My ankles turned under me at very unnatural angles as I slid down knees first.

My left ankle is swollen and my right knee is driving me nuts. I sure didn’t want to drive after that. I’ve been taking ibuprofen for the swelling. But I’m seriously thinking about a vicodin that’s in the cabinet calling my name.

Hope you’re enjoying your snow day. Just don’t fall down the steps so you don’t have to drive in to work.
