delayed, but not forgotten

Hi there,

Yes, I know, I know. It is Monday and I never posted pictures of flowers. I apologize to anyone (Squirl) who has been coming by faithfully to look at them and each time being disappointed. I hate disappointing people. But even more than that, I hate being cold.

You see, this weekend was soooooo freakin’ cold that the zero temperature post I put up the other day looked like nothing. Since the heat in our house just couldn’t keep up with the cold, the most I wanted to do was cower under a blanket on the couch in an attempt to stay warm.

I’m not sure when I’m going to post the flower pictures. It might be Friday after all.

Did anyone do anything fun this weekend? or even not so fun?

Don’t feel bad about not getting pictures posted. I think everyone (except maybe those people who live on a tropical island) understand how it feels to be so cold that you just want to stay curled up under a blanket all day.

We will just look forward to seeing the pictures posted in the future. : )

Hope the weather improves for you all soon!

We had blizzard weather this weekend. Couple that with low single digit temps meant really, really slippery driving weather around here. Wish I hadn’t gone to work today.

I don’t blame you for cuddling up in a blanket. Our house is smaller and very solid so we can get it pretty warm. Usually we set the temp for 70 or 72, yesterday I cranked it to 74.

So you saw that I kept checking? :)
    I’m like that.

It was 85 here today. While this was perfect weather, it just serves to remind me how much FREAKING hotter and more unpleasant it will be in a couple of months. I would love a few weeks in the cold and snow. My sweaters need to see the light of day.

Squirl, no I didn’t actually see. I can’t do that with the way my system is set up. But I figured since you said you’d be by on the weekend to see them that you probably checked each day. :-)
