Favorite niece’s fuzzy head Friday
I couldn’t resist sharing this one today, since I just got it and LOOK! You can see her hair and her eyes are open. Actually, since I’m used to newborns being pretty close to bald, her having so much hair makes her look older. But then I see a photo of Trainwreck or Texas Seestor holding her and I’m reminded of just how tiny she really is. Note, the set on Flickr is updated.
In other news, I had a migraine all day. But I’m finally well enough to eat and be out of bed and be on the computer. blah. I hate days like this. Unfortunately, this also means that I’ll be working tomorrow to make up for the experiment that I was supposed to do today. Gotta squeeze it in, since I’ll be off from Christmas to New Year’s. But that’s okay, I’ll just play Christmas music loud in the lab.

That’s a wonderful shot. I’m always amazed when a baby has that much hair. I sure didn’t have much at that age.
So sorry about your migraine. And you have to make up your work, too. Your work does sound more interesting than mine. But still, working the weekend to catch up sucks. But this must be a lot fewer hours than when you were working on your doctorate.
We’re getting the week between Christmas and New Year’s off. That’s going to be nice. We don’t have any major plans, maybe finish up some painting around here. But sleeping late will definitely be part of it.

Hey D. very cute photo. I apparently was born with a head of thick dark hair, which lasted for a little while, then it all fell out and came back light brown/dark blond. so there are a few photos of my dad with this dark haired baby and I asked him who it was and he said “you, of course, look at the nose” (I had a very distinctive little button nose). Anyway, I feel your pain both on being sick (though not migraine) and having to work all weekend (for the second weekend in a row

I have two cousins who were both born with a lot of hair and for both of them it fell out in the week or two after they were baptized. My aunt made lots of jokes about the holy water.
