I didn’t make my goal, but I did okay, all things conidered. i walked outside after work twice (Thurs and Friday). Both times I was racing the sun going down and trying to finish before it got too dark. It looks like I’ll have to find an alternate place to exercise this winter, since it gets dark so early.
I did get to see a beautiful sunset that first night and a huge flock of Canadian geese coming in to roost for the night. That was pretty eventful.

I walked ALL around the Disney World Parks Sun, Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Friday.
I also had to carry my niece a lot and she’s heavy and that made my arms hurt!
Texas Seestor says:
Wed: 30min ellipse
Thurs: 30min stationary bike
Friday: 15min ellipse; 15min bike
Sat: 30+min walk
Sun: not quite 30min walk (with Trainwreck)
On Sunday, we actually used our walking time to walk to the grocery store and to pick up items for dinner. We have a new store that is just a few blocks from our house…it still is tempting to just drive over there most of the time. Trainwreck says he should start a shuttle route with a golf cart and a small trailer to haul people to and from the store.

So, after almost 3 weeks of thinking I wasn’t in the Cape Cod Marathon relay, I found out last Tuesday that I AM in and it’s next Sunday. Good thing: I stayed on the training track for the first week and a half of that 3 (you can guess the bad thing).
Tuesday: barely a mile running
Weds: 1 mile trail run
Thurs: 1.5 mile run/walk
Friday: 1.5 mile run (I think)
Saturday: 2.25 mile run/.75 mile walk
Sunday: 2.5 mile run/0.5 mile walk (~40 minutes!)
one week to go…

I made my walking goal six out of seven days last week, and I went to Curves three times.
Watching those geese must’ve been wonderful. Well, as long as weren’t directly underneath, if you get my drift…
Amber says:
lol, I don’t think geese poop while flying. They are the bird types that have to be on ground to poop. (Thank goodness).
