Hot exercising Chicks – Week 28

Well, last week was pretty good for all of us. How did you do this week?

    I did just as well as last week, and maybe a little bit better.

    Tuesday and Friday I waliked outside
    Saturday – I strolled for a couple (few?) hours
    Sunday – I walked/jogged outside

    As you can tell, the weather has finally cooled off enough here for me to go back to walking outside again. I’m glad, because I like it better than Pilates. For one thing, I feel like I’m burning more calories walking than I am doing pilates. Pilates isn’t exactly aerobic.

    In an ideal world, I’d probably alternate between the two. But I don’t know if I have that much drive right now.

    Pilates is so good for your whole body, though. You’re building the muscles in your center which benefits everything else you do. We all know that muscles help burn calories even when we’re sitting still. :)

    I walked more than my goal of 7500 steps six out of seven days last week. Three of those were over 10,000 and one of those was over 12,000.

    Now I just have to make myself eat right so the walking helps my weight instead of just stamina. :)

    Tues: Bike on trainer 25 min
    Thurs: Swim 22 min

    M,W- aerobics for 20 minutes
    F- Shopping
    S – strolling
    Sun- I think I rode the bike or something..
