A notable morning moment
This morning, I finally gave in to the urge to weigh myself. You see, ever since the scale refused to budge after months of exercising, I’d convinced myself that I’d better just not weigh myself anymore, because it was simply too disheartening.
But guess what?!
I’ve lost 10 pounds! Yes! You heard me right. Ten whole pounds.
I guess exercising really is starting to pay off. It makes me grin with excitement.
This also means that I am back to my pre-writing-my-thesis weight. Which makes me wonder if I’d fit back into my old jeans again. But that is one thing I’m really afraid to check. Because, it would be too disheartening if they were too tight to zip shut or button. I had recently noticed that my newer jeans of the unheard of size seemed to be a little bit more loose than I’d remembered. But you know how jeans fit kind of tight when they just come out of the dryer and then as the week goes on, they get really loose? So, I was afraid that the whole loose jeans thing was just a mark of my slothfullness of wearing them too much. But maybe, just maybe the loose jeans combined with the new (well old really) number on the scale might be telling me that I really have lost some inches after all.
This gives me new motivation for exercising. You know, cause now I feel like it is paying off.
10 pounds! I still can’t quite get over it.

OMG! Congratulations!!! That is wonderful news. All of that exercising really is paying off. You must be so proud of yourself. And you deserve to be.
I’m at the “I’m doing all this walking and nothing’s happening” stage. Your story is a good boost for me.
I also started hanging my jeans to dry so they’re not quite as tight after washing. But they’re a bit more wrinkled.
I’m so very happy for you. I’ll bet this adds a bounce to your step now when you go for a walk.

CONGRATULATIONS!
Your efforts are working, you are making progress. I love those kinds of surprises, the kind that wake us up a little more or give us more hope and excitement!
Go you

Yay!
I bet that makes you want to do some more exercising.
How awesome is that?
10 pounds!
Well, maybe you’ll fit into those old pairs of jeans after all.

Whoo Hoo!!!!! Way to go, Danielle.
I know how disheartening it is to be exercising and to not see a change in your weight. Ten pounds is a lot. Especially if you consider the fact that you have probably been losing fat and gaining muscle and mucscle weighs more than fat. I am guessing those inches in your jeans are very real.
I will have to remember your story when I am trying to lose the baby weight I have/will gain. I found a stroller gizmo which keeps track of your mileage and time. Just might have to order one of those!!!!
Congratulations!!!!!
