Hot exercising chicks and chicos – Week 17
The phrase “sweating like a pig” comes to mind this week. But do pigs really sweat all that much? Heck if I know.
How did you do this week?

I did well! I finally was able to add in exercise during the week after I got home from work. Now that it is getting hot out, I’m more inclined to bike than walk, because biking generates a breeze.
Sunday – biked
Monday – biked
Tuesday – walked
Wednesday – biked
Thursday – none
Friday – biked
Saturday – walked with Amber and saw 2 turtles!
Sunday – walked
HB says:
6/1 – 6/4: Biked 19 miles / 1.3 hours
I didn’t post last week, which was biking 31 miles
HB
Amber says:
M-F – Unpacking, 30 minutes aerobics, 200 rotations of jumping rope, and 50 sit ups (There was a bike ride somewhere in there that week, but am to tired to remember)
Saturday – Walk with Danielle and saw two turtles!
Sunday – 400 jumping rope jumps and 50 situps.
Texas Seestor says:
Sat. – Pulled weeds for 2.5 hours in 90F + heat; think that counts for squats and arm exercise
Sun. – Road trainer for 40min…too hot to ride outside
Way to go Danielle on such a great exercise week!
Were the turtles large?
Amber says:
Shoot, it’s really been 17 weeks?
One turtle was a little bigger than the size of my hand, and the other one seemed to be 1.5 times larger than the smaller.
Does that sound about right?
Squirl says:
You guys are all doing so well. I can’t remember what exercising I did. I’m sure there was some, but it’s kind of a blur…
Danielle says:
I’d say that sounds about right on the turtles. Of course since Texas Seestor may not remember the size of your hands, Amber, I’d say that the small one was definitely larger than a Starbucks lid. Probably about as wide as one and a half lids and as long as two lids placed side-by-side.
Everyone knows how big a Starbucks lid is, right?
Amber says:
Good point. I’d agree with the starbucks lids.
Texas Seestor says:
I did remember that Amber’s hands were small, but not exactly what size. The starbuck’s lid sizing helps. : )
