Special Lunch
I had lunch today with Amber and Jonah.
The food was terrific, and the company was even better. It was a delightful way to spend my lunch hour.
Jonah was sooooo excited when he saw Amber’s burrito, but by the time I got my camera out, I missed the shot. He got this ‘deer in the headlights’ look at my camera. So, I set it back down and we went back to eating.
Then he got distracted by this toy and I popped off one shot.
But to get him to smile, I realized I just had to be more entertaining and shake his blue toy with one hand while taking the pic with the other. Just like I do with the Girlie.
And next time, I’ll remember to hold it over my head to get him to ‘look’ at the camera.
*grin*

That’s my baby boy.

Such a cutie pie!
It’s so cool you guys have been able to hang out together. Wish I lived closer, I’d love to join in.
Danielle says:
And such a cutie too, Amber.
And we’d love to have you, Momo!
Sometimes it is a dang shame that we are all so spread out. Other times I start thinking, maybe this is a way to see other parts of the country.

Oooh, I can’t help but be a tiny bit jealous. But I really am so happy that you guys are able to spend some time together. And those B/W pics of Jonah are TOO sweet!
Squirl says:
Those pictures are great. Would you like to experience Grand Rapids, MI?

Hmm…now, I did not follow the whole age – Parent/child – gray hair conversation very closely, but I think the gist of it was someone thought Amber was your daughter, Danielle? Based on ~10 years of waiter experience, I would not only check her ID to see if she was 21, I would check the picture REAL close to make sure it matched if the date showed she was over 21.
