I have huge maple trees in my yard. HUGE I say. Every fall, they drop thousands of leaves on my yard, and I spend countless hours bagging them. Bagging the damn leaves until my back breaks.

Not one of them is that pretty.

Dangit.

Reminds of what mother Rose said to her daughter Louise (Gypsy Rose Lee), just give 'em a little bit at a time. Always leave 'em wanting more.

You're such a tease. :-)

I remember the name tracing, too.

Thanks for sharing this leaf with us, Danielle. I just love the way you've done it, a little at a time, over a few days. It's made it so much more interesting, and really forced us to stop and appreciate the finer details. Thanks.

Wow.

That's just absolutely amazing.

I know what you mean about the name tracing. I used to do those when I got bored during school. hehe.

I love the leaf. Thanks for that series. It just blows my mind how cool that leaf looks.
