Seaqueen says:
Wow! That is some leaf! A nice way to remember NE fall.
Danielle says:
SeaQueen! Oh, dear. *sniff* Pull out the tissues.
yeah. It is making me so very very sad to know that I didn’t get to really enjoy summer and fall this year. I’ve looked back on my cycling posts from last fall a couple of times. Those trips were just so special to me.
Note how I’m avoiding the whole topic of leaving in my blog right now?
it is all very bittersweet.
I am holding onto the fact that we’ll only be a phone call or an email away, well, at least when you aren’t out at sea. Of course email and phone calls aren’t going to get me any closer to watching you curl this winter among other things.
okay, I’m bucking myself back up. gotta chug chug chug today.
LadyBug says:
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a fall leaf quite as striking as that one.
So very pretty.
Amber says:
Wow, that is totally not what I expected at all. I was expecting more green. I didn’t realize how far you zoomed into the leaf until now.
I love it! The green in the middle is soo…..I don’t know. It’s like an evergreen tree trapped inside a leaf. It’s so cool.
I remember a dream I had last night. You came by and commented on my blog to ask if I wanted to go out for steak. It was weird.
[craving steak]
Ern says:
That is exquisite. It kind of reminds me of a fractal geometry pattern. I might have to try the scanner on the rose petals I’ve been killing myself trying to get a good photo of with my sad little camera. (Wow, there are at least 4 things wrong with that sentence, none of which I am going to correct.)
Mandie says:
Yeah it’s the Canadian Thanksgiving yesterday. And thanks. ^^
Squirl says:
Wow, way less green than I’d imagined.
Momo says:
How pretty. i love them Danielle!
