Penguins walk through airport security

Oh my goodness! I don’t know how you feel about penguins, but to me, all animals are adorable. Well, almost all. I’m not sure how I feel about reptiles. But birds and mammals, they bring out the “Awwwww” in me.

Since it would be a copyright violation for me to put one of the pictures here, I can only describe it and post the link.

Basically, a couple of penguins living in SeaWorld in San Diego were flown to Denver, Colorado for a visit. And they had to walk through security.

The photos of them waddling through the metal detectors are just too adorable for words (the second and third pics in the slideshow are my favorites).

    It disturbs me a bit that the penguins were flown to Colorado to visit the Anheuser Busch brewery. I hope they didn’t give them any samples.

    I really like the captions they put underneath them, pointing out the absurdity of a penguin trying to hijack a plane. What do they think they might be hiding, and where?

    I know I was always amused when I had to take Panda (my cat, not a real panda) out of her case to go through security, but she has real weapons…claws!)

    The part that bothers me though, here comes my inner pessimist, is why they’d have to go through the metal detectors. What kind of sicko what would attach (insert?) explosives to (in) penguins?
